The person we hire will spend his or her day on these tasks: - Design, code, test, document, and maintain new and existing software
- Coordinate with technical support, vendors, quality assurance and co-workers
- Analyze program and system requirements
- Provide solutions that quickly satisfy our clients' needs and help obtain long term success.
Qualifications we're looking for include: - Associates degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, Bachelors degree preferred Knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design, and implementation
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Must work well in a team environment, as well as be able to work solo
Other beneficial skills are: - Software development experience with C++ or equivalent
- Relational database and SQL programming using ODBC
- Understanding of MFC and/or STL
Other technologies we'd love to see are: - HL7 2.x and/or 3.x
- TCP/IP communication
- XML
- Active X
- COM
