CHS has a full time permanent opening in either corporate office located in Reston, VA or Cape Canaveral FL for a Senior Template Developer. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:30 pm.
JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Template Developer is responsible for creating and editing NextGen EMR KBM Templates in Template Editor. The Senior Template Developer will also be responsible for: working directly with clients and client templates, customizations of work, specialty templates, supervising and consulting with other template developers, conducting regular quality assurance testing, analyzing templates for improvement, and correcting/repairing defects.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITES:
Work directly with operations and clinical departments troubleshooting, improving and building client and custom templates. Analyze templates and improve or repair/fix defects. Receive instruction from clients, supervisors within the department, other departments (support.) QA all template work.
QUALIFYING JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Required:
· Experience building NextGen Templates
· Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and SQL Server
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Applications
· US Citizenship required
· Medical background experience preferred
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (include certifications):
Required:
· NextGen
· Minimum 3 years NextGen KBM template building experience
· SQL, SQL Server knowledge and experience
· Medical background and terminology experience preferred
· Healthcare industry experience preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT/DYNAMICS:
Some travel is involved for implementing new KBM for current clients
Client communication involved for research and assisting them in troubleshooting
Healthcare including NextGen EMR experience
