About Us
Based in Weston, Florida, gMed was founded in 1997 to create a better alternative to the paper medical chart. gMed's Digital Charting System integrates medical information, cuts costs, increases revenues, improves quality and reduces risks for selected medical specialties, including Gastroenterology, Cardiology.
Our Medical Applications / Software Trainer's responsibilities include:
- Develop, revise and conduct training programs for clients and employees.
- Work with clients and gMed team members to resolve client issues.
- Formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.
- Select or develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, etc.
- Select or develop testing and evaluation procedures to be used at completion of training.
- Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
- After initial training (approx 2-3 weeks) in South Florida, this position will work remotely.

Requirements:
- Minimum of two to four years experience in software training – delivery and/or design
- Two years training experience in a physician's office or medical facility
- Experience in Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and/or Cardiology practices preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training experience
- Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the U.S.
- Successful completion of background check and drug test. Must have a valid driver's license.
