We are currently seeking several direct hire Core Trainers to support EpicCare Ambulatory clinical systems for well-known hospitals in the Chicago, IL and New York, NY areas. These individuals will be responsible for end user training on the EpicCare Ambulatory software module through classroom instruction and one-on-one coaching.
Responsibilities:
Positions may include the following:
- Assist with the development of training strategy for Ambulatory EMR rollout.
- Translate the details of the Epic software to the end users' work environment and responsibilities.
- Create and adapt instructional design materials as needed for different end user audiences.
- Write and maintain procedural guidelines for workflows as needed.
- Assist with writing lesson plans, syllabi, training materials and assessments.
- Work with colleagues to coordinate and ensure appropriate training coverage.
- Develop and update training materials, scripts, procedures, and tests.
- Develop online learning modules.
- Assist Epic teams in preparation for go-live and post go-live implementation.
- Support end users via on-site support, telephone, or beeper coverage.
- Achieve and maintain personal proficiency on respective Epic module.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of training experience; 3 to 5 years of healthcare operations experience, preferably in a medical practice.
- Knowledge of EpicCare software preferred.
- Extensive experience in training curriculum development.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must display a proven ability to conduct a learning needs analysis and assist/ develop a cohesive training strategy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project.
- Must be a team player who will help create a positive team environment and has the proven ability to work on a variety of projects.
