We are looking for consultants to work with clients in our regional offices in Minneapolis, Chicago and Denver as well as nationally. Healthia is seeking Clinical Systems Implementation Consultants with a variety of experience. Candidates with hands on experience in In-Patient, Radiology, Cardiology, Surgery and Scheduling systems are highly preferred. In addition, any candidate with previous experience implementing or leading implementations with Cerner, Epic or Meditech will be given priority.
The Clinical Systems Implementation Consultant would be responsible for implementing clinical health information systems at Healthia Consulting’s clients. A variety of project roles and responsibilities would be available depending on level of prior experience. These would include roles such as project manager, project lead and applications analyst and responsibilities such as workflow re engineering, systems customization or build, training, testing, go live support and system optimizations. The Consultant will also work with clinicians to understand hospital and clinic operational workflow, study patient flow, and make recommendations for process improvements based on evidence-based medical practices.
Successful candidates would have a background in clinical information systems implementation such as Electronic Medical Record systems or departmental systems such as pharmacy, surgery, radiology, lab, etc. Candidates with clinical information systems user experience and professional training in healthcare operations and professional affiliations such as a nurse, radiology technologist, pharmacist, pharmacy technician, surgery technician, etc. may also be considered. Ideal candidates would have prior consulting experience in a clinical information system implementation and understand clinical hospital and / or clinic operational workflow.
Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of healthcare processes and principles and be results-oriented, collaborative, adaptable, and practical.
