We are looking for a Nursing Requirements Director to join our growing team.
FUNCTION:
Leads the requirements’ specification and conceptual design work for all nursing aspects of T-System’s “solutions” (products plus services), including nursing content. Supervises other nurse analyst’s work. Infuses his or her thought leadership as well as nursing informatics expertise into all of our solutions.
Serves as Product Management’s chief nursing informatics liaison to all internal and external stakeholders. Mentors and develops other Product Management nurse analysts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· BSN or MSN degree, or equivalent, as well as a master’s degree in Medical Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent.
· National reputation as a nurse informaticist with experience as a CNIO, who has dealt with the nursing staff’s adoption and use of healthcare software.
· Nursing practice experience that provides a basis to understand both episodic and longitudinal care workflows.
· Broad knowledge of nursing-related IT standards
· Broad knowledge of nursing-related regulatory guidelines.
· Content development/knowledge engineering know-how.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead requirements analyst for nursing analytics functionality, eliciting, analyzing, and specifying nurse-related requirements – both functional and nursing content.
· Represent the “Voice of the nurse” as well as the “Viewpoint of the CNIO” in conceptual design work.
· Insure that all T-System requirements and design work is conducted, fully cognizant of all potentially relevant current and emerging nurse-related healthcare IT standards.
· Provide market insight regarding the CNIO’s viewpoint, on all relevant market analysis work.
