Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, T-System is the leading provider of clinical documentation solutions for emergency medicine. Today, more than 2,000 civilian and military emergency departments in the United States, Puerto Rico, Australia and around the world partner with T-System for their clinical information needs. We are looking for a Pharmacy Requirements Director to join our growing team.

 

FUNCTION:

Leads the requirements’ specification and conceptual design work for all pharmacy and pharmacologic aspects of T-System’s “solutions” (products plus services), including drug content. Infuses his or her thought leadership as well as pharmacy informatics expertise into all of our solutions.

Serves as Product Management’s pharmacist liaison to all internal and external stakeholders.


 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         RPh or PharmD degree.

·         Hospital and retail pharmacy experience.

·         Pharmacy / pharmacology content development experience.

·         Pharmacy IT consulting experience is highly desirable.

·         Current pharmacology knowledge is desirable.

·         Requirements specification and conceptual design know-how.

·         Able to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.

·         Organizational consensus builder, who works well on teams and without a need for close supervision.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Requirements analyst for pharmacist and pharmacological functionality: eliciting, analyzing, and specifying pharmacist- as well as pharmacology-related requirements.

·         Represent the “Voice of the pharmacist” (both retail and hospital-based) in conceptual design work.

·         Insure that all T-System requirements and design conforms to all relevant current and emerging pharmacy IT standards and processes (such as the medication reconciliation process).

·         Provide market insight regarding the pharmacist’s viewpoint and craft appropriate messaging, in connection with all relevant market analysis work.
